EarthCon is pleased to announce that William “Willie” McKercher, P.E. has joined the Company as Gulf Coast Operations Leader. With this hire, Mr. McKercher further strengthens the continued expansion of our nationwide environmental expertise and Gulf Coast presence. In this role, Mr. McKercher directly reports to the President of EarthCon, Timothy O. Goist.

In his role, Mr. McKercher will be responsible for the strategic direction of our Mississippi operations as well as expanding EarthCon’s Vapor Intrusion, Litigation Support, and Brownfields service lines nationwide. Willie comes to EarthCon with 17+ years of experience at the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). He most recently served as the Branch Chief for the Groundwater Assessment and Remediation Division (GARD) and was the Brownfields Coordinator for MDEQ. Through GARD, he has managed the regulatory oversight for facilities within the Brownfields Program, Voluntary Evaluation Program and Uncontrolled Sites Program. Willie also serves as a trainer for the Interstate Technology and Regulatory Council Petroleum Vapor Intrusion classroom course and was part of the IRTC team that developed the guidance document Vapor Intrusion Pathway: A Practical Guideline released in January 2007.
