June is National Safety Month! National Safety Month aims to help reduce the primary causes of injury and death at work, on the road, and in homes and communities by raising awareness about the ways we can keep ourselves and others safe.
The National Safety Council has created resources, available on their website, that highlight a different safety topic for each week in June. These topics are: 1) Hazard Recognition; 2) Slips, Trips and Falls; 3) Fatigue; and 4) Impairment.
Even though there's only one week left in National Safety Month, safety is important every month of the year. Click the link below to learn more about each of these topics—share them with family, friends, and colleagues to help cultivate safer communities!
